We call this Journey 2 Freedom because we recognize that this process is a journey. A journey to find your inner strength and to help you build on your existing skills so in turn you can overcome any obstacles standing in your way.
We understand some of the barriers to accessing support, and want to make services accessible to everyone. What’s unique about our services is that we are prepared to provide support within the comfort of your own home or community. Please note, a private space is available for use at The Village Health Clinic. In addition to individual supports, we recognize the benefits of being in a room with others who can understand your needs and challenges. Periodically, we will offer a range of groups either virtually or in person focusing on a number of topics to help support mental health. Please refer to our group tab to see what we are offering in your community.
We have experience working with a spectrum of mental health challenges with adults, children/youth and their families, as well as couples. Here are some of the reasons why you may be reaching out to us for support. If you have challenges not mentioned in this list please do not hesitate to contact us as we do have a wide range of experience.
Once you’ve contacted us, Carrie or Sareen will arrange a 30-minute consultation session free of charge. The purpose of the consultation is to learn more about your strengths, challenges, and best hopes. We will also be gathering information to determine which therapist we feel would be the best fit for you. As a team we work closely together to ensure that every client is getting the best possible support. Please refer to our services page to learn more.
